Nain (Modern Nein, Israel) was a small town in Galilee.
Overview
Nain is mentioned in the Gospel of Luke (7:11-17) as the setting of one of the Miracles of Jesus. See Young Man from Nain.

The location of the village was first identified by Edward Robinson and Eli Smith in the mid-19th century.
