Spanish scholar working at the Spanish Scientific Research Council ([[Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas]] [CSIC]). Editor in Chief of the series Textos Bíblicos y Parabíblicos [Biblical and Parabiblical Texts] published by the latter and (together with [[María Victoria Spottorno Díaz-Caro]]) of the Spanish edition of the [[Septuagint]] (of which vol. 1 was published in 2008). He has extensively written, both in Spanish and English, on the Greek versions of the Bible and other ralated issues.
