Herbert Marsh (1757-1839) was a British scholar. Born at Faversham, Kent, Marsh was educated at King's School, Canterbury and St. John's College, Cambridge. In 1785 he traveled to Germany where he studied with Johann David Michaelis. In 1807 he was elected the Lady Margaret's Professor of Divinity at Cambridge.
