Charles Duke Yonge (1812-1891) was a British scholar.
Biography
English historian, classicist. A graduate from Oxford University, was Regius Professor of Modern History at Queen’s College, Belfast, North Ireland. Renowned for his translations of classical authors, including Cicero, Diogenes Laertius, and Philo.
