His father, Tom Glasson, a local preacher of whom he published an account in 1943, was of Cornish stock. He trained for the ministry at Richmond College. He was appointed NT Lecturer at New College, London in 1960, where he remained until the college closed and he retired in 1972. His main interest was in eschatology, as seen in his two major works, The Second Advent (1945) and Greek Influence in Jewish Eschatology (1961). He contributed a commentary on Revelation to the Cambridge Bible series and also wrote a study of Moses in the Fourth Gospel (1963). He died at Poole on 29 June 1998.

Biography
Works
Books
*Greek Influence in Jewish Eschatology, with Special Reference to the Apocalypses and Pseudepigraphs (1961 Glasson), book

* The Revelation of John (1965 Glasson), book

Articles
* See John the Baptist (research)

External links
*[ Wikipedia]
