==Abstract==

The editor John Rogers contributed little to this English translation--only the Prayer of Manasseh can be attributed to him. The translation of the entire New Testament (and of significant portions of the Old Testament) was the work of [[William Tyndale]]. The remaining books of the Old Testament and the Apocrypha were the work of [[Myles Coverdale]]; see [[Coverdale Bible (1535 Coverdale), book]].
