Gerd-Fritz Grünstein (then Gerald Granston) was born 24 Feb 24, 1933, in Chemnitz Germany. In 1939 he sailed as a refugee on board of the [[MS St. Louis]]. He was among those who disembarked in England and survived the Holocaust
