==Overview==

Luke is the only Gospel to include the Trial of Jesus before [[Herod Antipas]], as part of the Passion narrative. The involvement of Herod Antipas in the death of Jesus is alluded also in Acts 4:27, where both [[Pilate]] and [[Herod Antipas]], Jews and Gentile alike, are blamed for gathering together against Jesus.
