The '''Josephus Colloquium''' is the name of a series of international conferences devoted to the study of the figure and works of [[Flavius Josephus]].

==History==

The first "Josephus Colloquium" gathered in San Miniato [Italy] in memory of [[Morton Smith]] at the invitation of Fausto Parente and Joseph Sievers. From 1997 to 2002, the ''Internationales Josephus-Kolloquium'' met annually under the chairship of [[Folker Siegert]] and [[Jürgen U. Kalms]]. Additional meetings of the Josephus Colloquium were held in Rome (2003), Dublin (2004), and Haifa (2006).
