Yoram Fridman was born Sept 19, 1934 in Błonie, Poland. In 1942, at age 8, he escaped from the Warsaw ghetto and spent the rest of the war as a street child. After the war he moved to Israel. His experience attract the attention of [[Uri Orlev]] who in 2011 made him the protagonist of a novel, which in 2013 became a movie.
