United Chinese Catholic Biblical Association (UCCBA), founded in 1985, is a Catholic Biblical Society.
History
The society was created on occasion of the First Asian Workshop held by the Catholic Biblical Federation in Hong Kong in 1985, and was formally constituted during the Second Chinese Biblical Meeting in 1990.
The major function of UCCBA is to promote the biblical pastoral ministry in the Chinese-speaking world. The founding and constitutive members include the Bible Associations from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
UCCBA became a member of the Catholic Biblical Federation in 1993.
