Biography

Torben Ulrich was born October 4, 1928 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Since mother was Jewish, she and her two sons escaped by fishing boat to Sweden during the Nazi round-up of the Jews in October 1943. Back to Denmark, Torber became a prominent tennis player.
