Maxime Rodinson (1915-2004) was a French Jewish scholar. Maxime Rodinson was born January 26, 1915 in Marseille [France]. He was a professor of Ethiopian (Amharic) at EPHE (École Pratique des Hautes Études, France). Rodinson died in Paris [France] on May 23, 2004.
