Biography

Alfred Josephus-Jitta (Jul 26, 1929) and Karolina Josephus-Jitta (Oct 24, 1931) were born in Amsterdam, Netehrlands, to Joseph Alfred Josephus-Jitta and Rosi Josephus-Jitta. The entire family was transported to Czechoslovakia, and spent more than a year in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp. In 1945, the family was released in a rare exchange of Jewish inmates for German POWs.

Alfred died in 1966 (car accident).
