Hercules / Heracles is a demigod of Greek , the son of Zeus (Jupiter), and the mortal Alcmene.
Hercules and Jesus
Although recognizing some similarities between the narratives attributed to Jesus and Hercules, critical scholarship dismisses any variant of the Jesus Myth Theory aimed to establish a direct connection between Jesus and Hercules. The cult of Hercules however influenced the worship and iconography of the Church.
