Fred M. Donner (b.1945), scholar

Fred McGraw Donner (b.1945) is an American scholar. Born in Washington, DC. He earned his PhD in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University in 1975. He taught at Yale University (1975-1982), moving to his current position at the University of Chicago in 1982.
