Blade af Satans bog <Danish> / Leaves from Satan's Book (Denmark, 1920) is a feature film (silent, B&W, 167m), directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer.

Abstract

A four-part feature dealing with Satan taking over the souls of people in four dark episodes of human history: the temptation of Jesus, the Spanish Inquisition, the French Revolution and the Russo-Finnish war of 1918. One segment dealt with Satan's involvement in the life of Jesus. Inspired by Marie Corelli’s novel, The Sorrows of Satan (1895).
