Arent Jan Wensinck (1882–1939), scholar

Arent Jan Wensinck (1882–1939) was a Dutch scholar. He studied Semitic languages at the Universities of Leiden, Berlin and Heidelberg. In 1912 he was appointed Professor at the University of Leiden, where he spent his entire academic career.
